PUBLIC REALM IN URBAN INDIA
10 May 2026 I Bangalore International Centre, Bengaluru
The session opened with a talk by Vinay Sreenivasa on what happens when the city’s informal life loses its legal ground: the vendors, the commons, and the pavement economies. He also interacted with the audience during the talk, asking them a bunch of questions to answer in groups, such as their favourite place to hang out and why they like Bangalore. This was followed by a screening of eleven films from Nagari 2025.
