Mod Foundation at The BLR Design Centre hosted a screening of 11 short films from Nagari 2025 as part of their event Frames of Transit. The films looked into the diverse challenges of mobility in urban India. The screening was followed by a virtual panel discussion with filmmakers Bina Paul, Bhargav Prasad, Pavithra Sriram, Jayshankar Ramu, Aryaki, and Amartya Ray. The conversation brought perspectives from walking, cycling, and disability, bringing the often overlooked dimensions of navigating India’s urban landscapes and the filmmakers’ perspectives on capturing the lived experiences of urban mobility.

As part of the Nagari initiative, these films use storytelling to spark public interest, encourage critical dialogue, and inspire collective action. We invite institutions, universities, and organisations to host screenings and discussions around the films and the issues.
