Amit Jindal is a self-taught filmmaker and also a practicing lawyer with over 15 years of experience. His transition from the courtroom to the camera began when his feature screenplay was selected for the Rewrite Screenwriting Lab (2021). Since then, he has directed both documentary and fiction films, supported by grants from JPAL and Drishti Media, as well as the Nagari Grant.

His work combines a deep understanding of human conflict with cinematic storytelling rooted in realism and social insight.
