Documentary filmmaker
Apoorva is trained in documentary filmmaking from Allahabad. Her work spans notable commercial documentaries such as Indian Predator and assisting filmmaker Sarvnik Kaur. In 2021, she co-directed and edited the short documentary Udta Banaras, produced under the Nagari Grant.
Her first feature-length documentary pitch was shortlisted for the India Docs grant and selected for the inaugural NFDC documentary co-production lab in 2023. Centered at the intersection of gender and caste, her storytelling explores the nuanced ways these social dynamics shape everyday life.
