URBAN PRACTITIONER | WRITER
Bhawna Jaimini is an urban practitioner and writer based in India. She is the founder of Centre for Urban Commons, a platform dedicated to creating improved and accessible public amenities and infrastructure in Indian cities. Bhawna has led multiple projects to improve the built habitat of some of the most marginalised communities. She is the author of Happiness City, a children’s book that reimagines the entire paradigm of urban development through the lens of care, compassion and cooperation. She is also the curator of the Asanjo Film Festival in Bhuj, which platforms young voices and their perspectives on urban India.
