DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKER
Biswajit Das is a documentary filmmaker and animator based in Guwahati, India. Since 2011, he has directed 25 documentary films and over 100 short animation videos. In 2019, he also directed and edited a 13-episode documentary series on food habits and culture of different parts of Assam. His films were screened in many film festivals in India and around the world including Kerala, Kolkata, Athens and New York. He is the recipient of many grants and fellowships including Sangeet Natak Akademi Research grant , One World Media Fellowship 2022 and Serendipity Food Matters Grant 2024.
