Flora Alexander is an architect and researcher deeply invested in how people shape the cities they inhabit and how policies can respond to their needs. Her work at Sensing Local led her to explore this through field research, community engagement and policy. At the Charles Correa Foundation, she found another way of looking at cities through the Nagari films. As the host of Urban Frames: A Nagari Podcast, she engaged with the people, ideas and stories that shape our built environments. A Bangalore girl at heart, she’s the founder of Mapping Flora, a project that uses trees to read the city, its seasons, stories and ever-changing landscape.
