DIRECTOR, CCF
Nondita Correa Mehrotra is the Director of the Charles Correa Foundation (CCF) and practices between India and the United States. She studied architecture at the University of Michigan and Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and worked closely with Charles Correa for over two decades. She is also a principal at RMA Architects, Mumbai + Boston.
Alongside her practice, Mehrotra has built an active academic career, teaching design studios at the University of Michigan and MIT, as well as a course on global cities at RISD. Her writing has appeared in several architectural publications, and she has served on numerous juries, including the Master Jury of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, the 2020 Lafarge-Holcim Awards Jury, and the 2023 AIA NY Design Awards. She is currently an External Design Advisor to the Harvard Allston Land Company, supporting the peer review process for Harvard University’s new campus. In 2005, she was among five finalists for the symbol of the Indian Rupee, a process she helped initiate with the Reserve Bank of India.
Since taking charge of CCF in 2017, Mehrotra has led the foundation’s many initiatives, spearheading the Z-axis conference series, launching the Nagari Films platform, and expanding CCF’s publications program.
