FILMMAKER
Susmita Talukdar is a filmmaker and media student at The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. Hailing from Assam, her work excavates the intimacies of everyday life, weaving narratives around gender, memory, and identity. A former Radio Jockey at All India Radio Guwahati, she brings a deeply attuned ear and cultural sensitivity to her craft. Her short film Maya was screened at SiGNS Film Festival, Kerala, and her documentary Remember Xilxaku won the Silver Bioscope Award under the Nagari Film Project
