Tahir Noronha is an architect, planner, and PhD researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. A graduate of the Goa College of Architecture and the University of Michigan, his work covers design, law, and economics. He previously served as convener of the Charles Correa Foundation in Goa, worked as a planner with the City of Detroit, and now studies land-use planning, law and regional governance in the Global South. In his free time Tahir documents the urban transformation of Goa, his home — and assists local environmental and citizen-action groups.
