Tanvi Karia is an architectural historian and curator based in Goa, India. She is currently the Assistant Director of the Charles Correa Foundation (CCF), Goa. She has a Masters degree in Architectural History and Theory from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Nirma University, Ahmedabad. She has earlier worked as a Junior Archivist at CEPT Archives and as a Teaching Associate at CEPT University. She co-curated and co-edited the book ‘Building a State: 75 years of Architecture and Engineering in Gujarat’. She is currently on the Board of studies at her alma mater, the Institute of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University. Her interests lie at the intersection of architecture, history and travel. She is working towards setting up a curatorial practice enveloping dissemination of architecture, design and humanities through popular media.
